Position Summary You will lead the medical function for Mexico, shaping medical strategy and guiding a high-performing team. You will partner across commercial, regulatory, research, legal and access to translate science into solutions that improve patient care. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Lead the Mexico medical organization and provide clear medical direction across therapeutic areas. - Develop and deliver a country medical strategy aligned with regional and global priorities. - Ensure strong medical governance, patient safety and compliance with local laws and company standards. - Build relationships with healthcare professionals, institutions and policy makers to strengthen scientific reputation. - Partner with commercial teams to inform evidence-based customer engagement and medical education. - Guide evidence generation, including post-marketing studies and investigator-sponsored research. Why You? Work arrangement: This position is hybrid with regular on-site presence in Mexico City and travel across Mexico as needed. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Medical degree (MD) or equivalent clinical qualification required and active registration where applicable. - Minimum 8 years’ experience in medical affairs or clinical roles in the pharmaceutical industry. - Experience leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships. - Knowledge of medical governance, pharmacovigilance and clinical research principles. - Strong communication skills in Spanish; professional working level of English preferred. - Ability to travel within Mexico and occasionally regionally. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Previous experience as a Country Medical Director or senior medical leader in Mexico or Latin America. - Experience working with regulatory, market access and commercial teams on launch planning. - Track record of developing evidence generation strategies and managing clinical or real-world studies. - Experience engaging with key opinion leaders, professional societies and government bodies. - Familiarity with digital medical solutions, data-driven insights and modern scientific communication. - Fluency in English in addition to Spanish.
