About the role
As Business Analysis Assistant Manager, you will be responsible to ensure Haleon’s offline sales promotion spending management, process optimization and investment efficiency analysis.
Key responsibilities
- End-to-End Offline sales team Promotion Spend Management:
- Manage marketing budget planning, monthly/quarterly execution tracking, periodic reviews, and reporting.
- Proficiently use Ariba for purchase requisition submission, order tracking, and supplier collaboration to ensure compliance and process visibility.
- Budget Management Process Optimization:
- Continuously optimize budget planning, approval, adjustment, and control processes
- Spend Forecasting and Dynamic Control:
- Conduct periodic marketing spend forecasts based on business planning and historical data to support dynamic budget adjustments.
- Monitor spend execution progress through systems and data reports, providing timely alerts for overspending, anomalies, and business risks.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Process Enablement:
- Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, Procurement, and other teams to ensure standardized and optimized budget and spend management processes.
- Provide training and support to business teams on budget management and process operations to enhance spend control awareness and execution efficiency
Qualifications and skills
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Economics, Marketing, Data Analysis, Information Management, or a related field.
- 4+ years’ in spend management, financial analysis, marketing operations, or a related role. Experience in internet, consumer goods, or advertising industries is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Ariba or similar procure-to-pay (P2P) systems, with familiarity in core modules such as purchase requisitions, order management, and supplier collaboration.
- Proficiency in Excel for data processing and analysis. Experience with SQL, Tableau, or Power BI is a plus.
- Strong understanding of budget management, financial controls, and marketing processes, with the ability to drive process improvements.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and results-driven with a systematic mindset.
