Product and Technology Lead
Manages and motivates a team of Product and Process Engineers to support Product Lifecycle Management of products manufactured on site.
Interfaces with Regional and Global teams, as well as other functions and colleagues in other regions, to develop and implement best practice across the team. Ensures site Technical strategy is aligned to future direction of the site.
Interacts with internal and external auditors to support site inspections.
Manages team performance on investigation, deviation and CAPA support - coaches team to continuously improve on investigation robustness and speed, and ensuring CAPAs are effective.
Ensures that all documentation and assigned activities within the team are performed in compliance with applicable regulations, corporate standards, market laws, and industry accepted practices.
Oversees process validation strategy and practices within the team, ensuring that Health Authority regulations are appropiately adhered and a fit-for-purpose approach is embedded within the team.
Performs risk assessments on cleaning processes, as required for new products, processes, or materials introduced to the site, and ensuring appropriate validation is implemented. This includes HBEL, MACO, residual solvent calculations, and other assessments to support cleaning validation needs. Develops and works with Operations to execute protocols for cleaning validation, and issues validation reports.
Provides effective leadership and direction of the team; builds and develops talent and engages employees to optimize performance
Uses Performance Management process and day-to-day interactions with employees to create and implement development plans, provides coaching and gathers feedback on personnel performance, responsible for section’s overall performance
Provides guidance to direct reports on technical issues and activities at the site
