Country Value Team Leader (CVTL) – Lung Cancer
We are looking for a strategic and impact‑driven Brand Manager / Country Value Team Leader (CVTL) to lead our Lung Cancer portfolio in a highly complex and fast‑evolving oncology landscape.
This role turns scientific innovation into patient value, by aligning strategy, execution, and cross‑functional leadership.
Operating at the intersection of commercial, medical, access, and analytics, the CVTL shapes how Lung Cancer care is delivered at country level.

Role Purpose
CVTL – Lung Cancer:
Owns the country Lung Cancer strategy, from ambition to execution
Leads a cross‑functional Country Value Team to create integrated, sustainable impact
Ensures patients benefit from innovation through appropriate adoption, access and standards of care
Key Responsibilities
Brand & Portfolio Strategy
Define, evolve, and execute Lung Cancer brand and portfolio
Translate EMEA direction into locally relevant, actionable plans
Ensure coherent positioning across medical, access, and commercial touchpoints
Exploits market opportunities and addresses market/ customer
needs according to HCC guidelines
Works productively with external agencies, cross functional groups,
marketing functional network, CVTs and IBVTs network
Country Value Team Leadership
Act as the strategic anchor for the CVT, ensuring alignment on priorities and outcomes
Drive decision‑making through insight, structure, and influence rather than hierarchy
Enable high‑quality debate and clarity in a matrix organization
Forecasting & Scenario Planning
Develop and own brand forecasts
Lead scenario‑based thinking to support strategic and financial decisions
Launch & Lifecycle Excellence
Orchestrate pre‑launch, launch, and post‑launch readiness when applicable
Manage lifecycle transitions in a dynamic standard of care environment
Continuously reassess plans as science and market realities evolve
Cross‑Functional Orchestration
Partner closely with Medical, Market Access, Sales, Digital, Finance, and Global teams
Ensure execution excellence through clear roles, governance, and follow‑up
Translate complexity into focus and prioritization
Strategic & Financial Ownership
Own brand budgets and investment choices with a clear ROI and value mindset
Make trade‑off decisions transparently, grounded in impact rather than legacy
Think beyond short‑term sales toward long‑term ecosystem value creation
Advanced Analytics & AI Utilization
Use analytics to deepen understanding of:
Patient segments and treatment pathways
Market dynamics and unmet needs
Apply AI and advanced tools to:
Improve forecasting and scenario modeling
Optimize campaigns and resource allocation
Ensure all data and AI use is ethical, compliant, and patient‑focused
Stakeholder Management & Influence
Internal: CVT members, local leadership, local sales teams, EMEA/global teams
External: HCPs, KOLs, Marketing Agencies
Build trust‑based relationships and influence outcomes without formal authority
Balance competing priorities with clarity and diplomacy
Experience & Skills
Strong experience in Oncology commercial roles; Lung Cancer exposure is a strong advantage
Proven ability to lead cross‑functionally in a matrix environment
Strategic mindset with the ability to simplify complexity
Solid financial and analytical acumen, including forecasting and scenario planning
Excellent communicator, able to translate data and science into clear narratives
High learning agility in a rapidly changing scientific landscape
