Associate Director, Digital Health – International Markets
Location: Europe (Poland)
Position Summary
The Associate Director, Digital Health – International Markets is responsible for shaping and advancing Digital Health strategy across BMS International Markets, spanning Oncology, Hematology, Neuroscience, Immunology, and Cardiovascular disease.
This role partners closely with regional and country teams to identify priority unmet needs across the patient journey and translate those insights into scalable, value-driven digital solutions aligned to BMS commercial and pipeline assets. The Associate Director serves as a strategic connector between markets and global Digital Health teams, ensuring initiatives are impactful, feasible, and aligned with enterprise priorities.
Key Responsibilities
· Partner with market, brand, and medical teams to identify and prioritize unmet patient, provider, and business needs
· Shape International Markets Digital Health strategy across multiple therapeutic areas
· Translate insights into clear digital opportunity spaces and solution concepts aligned to therapeutic area strategy
· Evaluate technology landscape and partnership opportunities for scalable and compliant solutions such as AI-algorithms for disease detection, clinical decision support tools, mobile apps for patient support, and digital therapeutics
· Effectively translate business and user requirements into features and functions in technical solutions
· Develop business cases and value frameworks to support investment decisions
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to launch and scale solutions from proof-of-concept to full implementation
· Define KPIs and measurement approaches to demonstrate patient and business impact.
· Support governance processes and ensure alignment between global and market priorities
· Lead through influence in a complex, matrixed global environment.
Qualifications & Experience
· Advanced degree in digital health, life sciences, engineering, or related field preferred
· Demonstrated track record in digital health, health tech, or pharmaceutical innovation, with proven ability to lead complex initiatives and drive meaningful impact
· Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas and international markets
· Familiarity with regulated digital products and global regulatory environments (including EU MDR)
· Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills
· Demonstrated ability to shape strategy and influence decision-making in global organizations

Compensation Overview:
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. The final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience and in accordance with pay equity principles and applicable employment laws.

On-site Protocol
BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:
Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
