Purpose:
J&J MedTech Mexico is recruiting for a Finance Manager, reporting to the Cluster Finance Director. This role is a key strategic partner to the business, responsible for driving financial performance, enabling decision making, and shaping long term value creation while ensuring strong financial compliance and governance.
The Finance Manager will operate with E2E ownership across financial processes, proactively influencing business decisions through data driven insights and financial and strategic expertise to business partners and senior leaders across the region, supported by a deep understanding of a complex and evolving market environment. This role requires strong cross functional leadership with a diverse group of partners such as Commercial, Supply Chain, Accounting, Compliance, etc. to drive sustainable growth, optimize cash flow, and advance operational excellence through continuous improvement and digital transformation, leveraging influence and a simplification mindset while ensuring compliance with local laws and corporate policies.
You will be responsible for:
Financial Performance, Planning & Decision Support
• Lead the financial planning and forecasting cycle, delivering timely, decision ready insights for annual and quarterly reviews, and challenging teams to strengthen financial discipline and optimize investment allocation.
• Translate financial data into actionable insights, identifying opportunities and risks across the business.
• Build robust financial models to evaluate investment proposals and business plans, to identify cost and inventory optimization opportunities, and translate findings into clear recommendations and actionable execution plans.
Strategic Business Partnering
• Act as a trusted advisor to multiple teams, by influencing decisions that drive profitable growth, market expansion, and long term value creation.
• Partner with commercial teams in the design and governance of rebate schemes, and customer agreements to balance competitiveness, growth, and profitability.
• Provide insights into sales performance, customer profitability, and market dynamics, including key accounts and government segments.
• Evaluate trade offs across commercial decisions (volume, credit, rebates) ensuring alignment with financial discipline and cash flow sustainability.
Free Cash Flow and working capital optimization
• Lead initiatives to optimize working capital, DOS, DSO, and Free Cash Flow.
• Drive inventory and supply planning optimization to unlock free cash flow strengthening IBP governance.
• Own the E2E cash cycle agenda, safeguarding cash discipline through KPI governance, clear accountability, and escalation routines to improve cash conversion.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
• Identify and implement Best in Class practices to help drive operational efficiencies. Drive continuous improvement, simplification, and automation across finance processes.
• Support the review of local statutory financial figures in compliance with local regulations. Ensure accurate Financial closing figures, in line with SOX controls.
• Support compliance with local government, legislations and company regulations, policies, and procedures with the highest standards of financial integrity.
Leadership & Capability Building
• Provide management and direction for individual leaders through developmental guidance and performance evaluation, ensuring team effectiveness and efficient performance.
• Actively coach others and identify or create developmental or stretch assignments into other specialty areas, business units, sectors, and/or geographies.

Qualifications / Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting/Business management;
• MBA/advanced degree (preferred)
• Fluent in English
• 8 years of relevant work experience in Finance
