FP&A Sales Senior Manager
Location: Sandoz Global Capability Center (GCC), Hyderabad
Role Summary
The associate will serve as the analytical backbone for the Market FP&A team, leading all reporting, data management, and financial analytics activities. This role enables the Business Planning Manager (BPA) to focus on strategic business partnering by delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis across product margins, price–volume–mix, inventory, and operational reconciliations.
Associate will manage critical planning tools (OnePlanning/ASPIRE), support forward-looking analysis, and ensure transactional accuracy in SAP. The position plays a key role in driving operational excellence, strengthening compliance, improving automation, and providing fact-based insights to support decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Reporting & Tool Management
Deliver product margin reports (Retail/Bio/Hospital) and Price–Volume–Mix (PVM) analysis
Prepare product performance reports by channels and segment P&L
Monitor daily sales, inventory levels, and stock-in-trade for accuracy and completeness
Manage and maintain OnePlanning/ASPIRE systems to ensure data accuracy
Drive process automation and maintain reporting tools to improve operational efficiency
Create and maintain a comprehensive product database as a single source of truth for financial data
2. Monthly Analytics
Analyze write-offs and provide root-cause insights
Perform Intercompany Margin (ICM) calculations
Conduct variance analysis as part of the month-end close
Execute integrated reconciliations across financial and operational data as part of the local S&OP process, enabling scenario-based planning
3. Product Cost Accounting
Validate SAP product costing and ensure accuracy of cost components (BOM, routing, overheads, etc.)
4. Forward-Looking Planning
Translate macro-level business plans into detailed product-level plans within OnePlanning/ASPIRE
Assess product switches, market movements, and forecast impacts
Provide ad‑hoc analytical support for commercial and strategic decisions
Independently manage planning tools and proactively flag gaps, risks, and system issues
Analyze TPC (Total Product Cost) guidance and highlight any significant impacts to the region
Qualifications
Financial degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics; MBA Finance / Chartered Accountant preferred.
7 to 10 years of experience in FP&A, Commercial Finance, or similar analytical roles
Strong proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel, Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Alteryx
Strong command of English
