Overview

You will be providing leadership and direction for the packaging operations within a high‑volume manufacturing site, supporting Haleon’s marketing and consumer strategy. The role is responsible for ensuring packaging production requirements are met safely, efficiently, and on time through strong cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • You will lead, develop, and coach the packaging leadership team in alignment with company objectives, fostering open communication and a high‑performance culture

  • You will champion a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment in line with Haleon standards and all applicable Federal and local regulations

  • Ensure strict compliance with quality and regulatory requirements, including GMPs, through direct involvement in the development, implementation, and maintenance of SOPs

  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives, including labor and material efficiencies, capital investments, and improved equipment utilization

  • Act as a liaison with Corporate functions, other Haleon manufacturing sites, and external technical or industry groups, contributing subject‑matter expertise and strengthening Haleon’s reputation

  • Build, empower, and sustain high‑performing teams across exempt and non‑exempt populations

  • Prepare, manage, and review departmental budgets to achieve financial targets

  • Interpret production forecasts and leverage SAP systems to support operational planning

  • Support accurate batch execution, respond to changes in production demand, and ensure readiness for new product introductions while meeting customer and quality requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in technical field / science.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working in high‑volume production operations.

  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), including pillars such as Autonomous Maintenance (AM), Preventive Maintenance (PM), and Early Equipment / Initial Equipment Management (EEM/IIM).

  • Experience implementing FDA and GMP regulations.

  • Experience leading and developing non-exempt and exempt staff.

  • Ability to work cross functionally and influence others.

  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing constraints/Bottlenecks.

  • Understanding and application of Lean Principles and Daily Management System
