As a Buyer at Lonza in Hyderabad, you will support the smooth procurement of goods and services that enable our teams to deliver life-changing therapies. In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure efficient, compliant, and timely purchasing across multiple sites.

What you will do

• Review and approve purchase requisitions for indirect goods, services, and CAPEX.
• Create and manage purchase orders in line with procurement policies.
• Confirm orders with suppliers and follow up to support on-time delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance and raise issues with category or strategic buyers.
• Answer procurement-related questions from internal and external partners.
• Promote the use of approved buying channels and e-catalogue solutions.
• Support first-level system and accounts payable enquiries.

What we are looking for

• Experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
• Ability to manage purchase orders and supplier communication effectively.
• Confidence working with digital purchasing or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.
• Ability to manage multiple requests and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a global procurement environment.
