Summary
In this role, you will support Lonza’s global operations by managing the efficient purchase of goods and services. You will help ensure continuity of supply while working closely with internal teams and suppliers.

What you will do
• Review and validate purchase requisitions in line with procurement policies
• Create purchase orders and manage confirmations to support timely delivery
• Support sourcing decisions by assigning preferred suppliers where possible
• Monitor supplier performance and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders
• Promote approved buying channels and e-catalog tools to increase automation
• Respond to procurement, accounts payable, and first-level system inquiries
• Support multiple sites by ensuring consistent and compliant buying processes
What we are looking for
• Experience supporting purchasing or procurement activities
• Confidence working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple requests while meeting deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to policy compliance
• Comfort using purchasing systems or ability to learn new tools quickly
• Clear communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
• Willingness to collaborate across teams and global locations
