Job Description
As the Market Access Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing market access strategies to ensure timely, sustainable patient access to our company's in‑line and pipeline pharmaceutical and vaccine portfolio. The role ensures optimal pricing, reimbursement, and formulary positioning by translating scientific, clinical, health economic, and real‑world evidence into compelling value propositions for payers and healthcare decision‑makers.
You will partner closely with Medical, HEOR, Regulatory, Policy, Marketing, and Regional/Global Market Access teams, and plays a critical role in new product launches, lifecycle management, and policy shaping, in alignment with our company's mission to save and improve lives.
Key Responsibilities
Market Access Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement market access strategies for both in‑line products and new launches to achieve favorable pricing, reimbursement, and formulary inclusion.
Define evidence‑based access pathways, pricing frameworks, and execution plans aligned with payer expectations and patient value.
Support new product planning (NPP) activities up to 24 months pre‑launch, including competitive landscape analysis, access risk assessment, and early stakeholder engagement.
Pricing, Reimbursement & Dossier Management
Lead or independently execute pricing and reimbursement submissions, including preparation and coordination of value dossiers, BIA, HEOR components, and payer materials.
Conduct pricing analyses (e.g., international reference pricing, internal/external benchmarking, scenario modeling) to optimize commercial outcomes.
Contribute to tender strategies, contracting approaches, and access negotiations where applicable.
Health Economics & Evidence Generation
Partner with Medical Affairs and HEOR teams to identify and develop health economic and real‑world evidence aligned with access needs.
Support local adaptation of economic models, validation of assumptions, incorporation of local data, and development of manuscripts or publications.
Translate complex data into clear, payer‑focused value messages that demonstrate innovation, outcomes, and system value.
Stakeholder & Policy Engagement
Conduct stakeholder mapping and develop engagement strategies with payers, HTA bodies, policy makers, hospitals, and key healthcare institutions.
Collaborate with Policy / External Affairs to help shape a conducive pricing and reimbursement environment, leveraging scientific evidence, real‑world data, and international best practices.
Build and maintain trusted, compliant relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support sustainable access.
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Governance
Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Regional/Global Market Access teams to ensure alignment on access deliverables and value messaging.
Lead or contribute to cross‑functional launch teams and governance forums, ensuring access readiness and execution excellence.
Track market access KPIs and continuously improve pricing, access, and reimbursement performance.
Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Medicine, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or broader pharmaceutical industry experience with access exposure.
Demonstrated experience supporting pricing/reimbursement submissions and product launches is strongly preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of local healthcare systems, pricing & reimbursement processes, and payer decision‑making.
Solid analytical skills, including ability to interpret health economic, clinical, and real‑world data.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and project management skills.
High learning agility, problem‑solving capability, and ability to work effectively in matrix environments.
Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and presentation tools; strong written and spoken English.
