The U.S. Lead of Insights, Analytics and Digital will play a critical role in setting the vision and continuing to build the operating model, capabilities, structure, and talent base of the U.S. Insights, Analytics and Digital Community. This role will drive data-driven decision-making to support brand strategy, launch excellence, and long-term planning across a portfolio of autoimmune disease assets. This role will be the USLT business owner for the Digital capabilities that will enable the US Team to scale thoughtfully and maximize our impact (Digital capabilities both vertical within the community and horizontally across entire US Commercial/US Medical Affairs). The role will be a key partner to our Digital Technology /IT Team for developing our “digital first and AI enabled” technology capability and should have a strong perspective on how digital and technology can enable better decision making, customer engagement and embedding digital to transform the business. The U.S. comprises the majority of argenx’s overall business, playing a central role, as we continually grow and support the launches of multiple products. Strengthening our largest market, this individual will lead this community to support argenx’s integrative insights and analytics and digital capabilities and strategy. As part of this remit, the U.S. Lead will play a key role in expanding our predictive and advanced analytics capabilities, ensuring that forward looking insights are embedded in strategic decision making. This integrative function includes three major areas: Forecasting and Market Research, Field and Secondary Data Analytics, and Commercial Effectiveness Operations. In addition to the above, this function will also partner closely with Marketing and DT/IT on enhancing digital delivery and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the U.S. Insights, Analytics and Digital community, overseeing primary and secondary research, forecasting, and advanced analytics
- Lead the US Digital Strategic Roadmap inclusive of business prioritization in partnership with Digital Technology/IT to deliver on the horizontal and vertical capabilities across US Commercial and US Medical Affairs
- Key US business partner to our argenx Digital Team to advance our mission of becoming a Digital first biotech enabling continued growth and scale and leading the digital capabilities for the business
- Provide HCP targeting, segmentation, etc.
- Provide strategic input and leverage deep expertise in uncovering valuable insights to serve as an advisor to business leaders. Be proactive in providing insights to help shape and influence decision-making across commercial strategy and investment decisions
- Develop and execute comprehensive analytics roadmaps
- Drive cross-functional alignment on key business questions and ensure delivery of actionable insights
- Oversee vendor partnerships and ensure high-quality execution of research and analytics projects
- Establish and maintain performance dashboards and monitor brand and market performance
- Lead competitive intelligence and scenario planning to inform strategic choices in a dynamic rare disease landscape
- Continuously seek innovation, explore and implement novel approaches to insights and analytics in order to drive efficiency and further the business
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or scientific field; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) strongly preferred
- 10+ years of experience in insights, analytics, digital, commercial strategy within the biotech/pharma industry
- Deep expertise in rare diseases or specialty therapeutics as well as working in highly competitive TAs
- Experience with buy and bill
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of building and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into strategic insights and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SQL, Python/R a plus)
- Expertise in AI and how best to utilize/leverage in the insights and analytics area

For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $280,000.00 - $385,000.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies. It also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to retirement savings plans, health benefits and other benefits subject to the terms of the applicable plans and program guidelines.
