Intro Summary of the Role
The Financial Planning Application Developer (SAP Analytics Cloud) plays a key role in designing, building, and operating enterprise planning solutions within Lonza’s Digital Finance team. This position supports FP&A by delivering scalable and high-performing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) planning applications across integrated financial and workforce planning processes. The role combines strong technical expertise in SAP SAC with a solid understanding of financial planning processes, acting as a bridge between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders.

What You Will Do
Design, develop, and optimize SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions
Configure SAC planning components including Data Actions, Multi Actions, Input Controls, Data Locking, Advanced Formulas, and Security
Customize and enhance SAP Business Content for Integrated Financial Planning and Workforce Planning
Identify gaps in standard SAP content and propose scalable solutions
Support solution design workshops and deliver training sessions
Maintain, troubleshoot, and operate SAC planning applications
Act as a liaison between Finance, IT, and business stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or Data Science
Hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud Planning
Strong understanding of FP&A processes
Experience customizing SAP Business Content
Technical skills including Advanced Formulas and JavaScript (ES6+)
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
