About This Role:
As the Senior Finance Business Partner at Biogen Brasil, you will serve as a pivotal strategic advisor to our leadership team, fostering data-driven decision-making and maintaining financial discipline across the affiliate. This role involves leading comprehensive financial planning cycles, including Annual Operating Plans (AOP), Long Range Plans (LRP), and forecasts. You will conduct strategic analyses for new products and initiatives while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive sustainable growth. Your input will be integral in shaping strategic decisions, ensuring that Biogen Brasil remains forward-thinking and financially robust. By leveraging your expertise, you will support commercial, medical, and general administrative finance functions, contributing significantly to our overall business structure and success.
What You’ll Do:
Act as the primary financial advisor to the General Manager and Therapeutic Area leads.
Influence strategic decisions through insightful financial analysis and risk-opportunity assessments.
Engage in leadership discussions with cross-functional teams to align business goals.
Lead the financial planning processes, including AOP, LRP, quarterly forecasts, and monthly outlooks.
Monitor and analyze performance against plans, recommending necessary interventions.
Deliver comprehensive monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Manage dashboards and conduct analytics for sales, operational expenses, and other financial metrics.
Provide financial evaluations and support to commercial and medical teams.
Develop financial models for new product launches and strategic opportunities.
Drive digital finance initiatives to enhance reporting and analytics processes.

Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience in finance with a strong FP&A background.
Experience in the pharma or biotech industry.
Familiarity with US GAAP and Brazilian GAAP.
Proficiency in Oracle, SAP/Hyperion, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Preferred Skills:
MBA, CPA, or CMA certification.
Experience in digital finance initiatives and process optimization.
Strategic mindset with strong influencing skills.
