This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of engineers and scientists who are passionate about advancing the field of oncology research by developing drug-device convergence products for treatment of bladder cancer.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, able to work independently, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment that fosters growth and development. The candidate will gain valuable experience in all aspects of product design and development from concept through scale up to manufacturing for both formulation and device design.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and prototype drug-device combination and associated delivery system products
Conduct hands-on laboratory testing to evaluate the performance of the prototypes for supporting formulation, device, and combination product development
· Collaboration with scientists and technicians to analyze and resolve technical challenges
Maintain laboratory notebook and prepare technical reports
Support preclinical activities through hands-on manufacture and characterization of investigational products
Leverage tools (MATLAB, R, Python, etc.) to analyze data and validate data to ensure data quality and reliability.
Experience and Skills:
Required:
· Team-oriented with strong written and communication skills
Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail and a collaborative work approach
Experience of working in a laboratory environment
Basic wet lab skills (sample dilutions, aseptic procedure, etc.)
Experience in using programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB
Positive, independent, and contagious work ethic
Preferred:
Experience in pharmaceutical formulation or product development
Familiarity with drug-device combination products is a plus.
Knowledge of chemistry, biology, or material science
Workplace Type:
This is a fully onsite position in Lexington, MA.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$23.00/hr to $51.50/hrAdditional Description for Pay Transparency:
The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
