Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. Job Title: FSI Director
Johnson & Johnson Global Services is recruiting for a GS Financial Service Innovation Director focusing on the Orthopaedics business, based in Manila supporting GS ATR, ITC and Compliance scope.

The GS FSI Director supports all financial processes within GSF scope related to the business strategy, transitions, divestitures and/or acquisitions and Technology and process projects for the Orthopaedics business. This role will also lead all financial planning and analysis activities for Global Services for the Orthopaedics business.
The role requires a high level of motivation and confidence, the ability to work independently and meet critical deadlines
Responsibilities
- Accountable to ensuring GS lead programs have the appropriate strategies in place to lead GS in achieving Global value case commitments for key global initiatives
- Provide overall financial leadership across the GS functions including business partnering and Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Operationalizes enterprise deployment/implementation/Acquisition and Divestiture strategies
- Identifies, prioritizes, allocates and manages appropriate resources to successfully achieve strategy/implementation objectives
- Provides advice, analysis and guidance to senior leadership on critical projects; collaborations cross Finance
- Responsible for leading solutions to overcome challenges identified through deployment/implementation
- Responsible for overall relationship management across senior finance leadership
- Accountable for communicating and socializing any/all values case expectations; be the liaison between GSF and Program Leaders to ensure alignment on investment requirements, trade offs, adjustments, etc. throughout program.
- Work with all required stakeholders to ensure proper and timely communications
- Accountable for overall customer satisfaction during deployment process
- Accountable for issue and risk resolution & escalation to management where required
- Manage interdependencies with other initiatives, local and global
- Ensure team members have the appropriate skills, supporting tools and technologies to enable them to deliver excellent customer service
- Provide leadership, coaching, training and guidance to team so they can proactively carry out their role to the highest possible standard
- Continuously ensure alignment of project initiatives with the global design
- Effectively oversee multiple projects concurrently
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Accounting or Finance degree preferred
- A minimum of 10 years of finance and/or accounting experience is required
- A minimum of 5 years of finance project experience is required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience leading, coaching, and developing teams of professionals and/or indirect matrix teams is required
- Familiarity with various Finance Operational Processes (A2R, ITC, etc.) is required
- Ability to influence and interact with impact with Senior Leaders in GS and Finance is required
- Project Leadership experience is required
- Ability and confidence to enact considerable level of judgement and decision making that has direct impact on projects/strategies is required
- Ability to leverage the capabilities across GS (i.e. Central Teams) is required
- This role will be based in Manila, Philippines and may require up to 20% international travel
