Then you might be our new Laboratory Technician in QC Stability and Shelflife in Kvistgaard.
About the team
You will join QC Stability and Shelflife, a diverse and international team of scientists and laboratory technicians working closely together to support vaccine production. The team is responsible for stability and shelflife testing of drug substances, drug products, and related materials in support of clinical and commercial vaccines, and operates under GMP.
Due to work with living cells, shifted working hours on weekdays, as well as occasional weekend and public holiday work, may occur. QC Stability and Shelflife is part of Bavarian Nordic’s Quality Control department, consisting of more than 70 employees.
Your key responsibilities
Your tasks may include, among others: Working closely with our scientists in planning and setup of stability studies in LIMS, trend on stability data and assisting with deviations when they occur. Taking ownership of our processes to ensure that we are always in control and always have a focus on improving the ways we work together will be key to your success.
In addition, you will be responsible for the daily handling of stability samples and studies, while maintaining an overview and plan the handling of upcoming studies to ensure timeliness in our work.
The role also involves daily ownership of our laboratory equipment, including correct use, basic troubleshooting, maintenance in accordance with SOPs, and participation in equipment qualification activities and systematic performance reviews. Furthermore, continuous improvements to our processes and alignment of stability flows across QC sites will be part of the role and will be carried out in close collaboration with our scientists. If you are interested in furthering your planning skills and working towards LEAN certifications this is the place you want to develop.
In the QC organization, we take pride in being there for each other and helping when there is a need and thus supporting with deviations, ad hoc tasks and training of people outside of the team is to be expected.
Are you our next QC pioneer?
We are looking for a laboratory technician who is passionate about laboratory work and motivated to contribute to the development and assurance of our analytical processes. To succeed in this role, we expect you to:
- Be educated as a laboratory technician, or similar
- Have experience with product stability and equipment qualification
- Have experience working in a GMP-regulated environment (an advantage, but not a requirement)
- Be fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken
As a person, you work in a structured and proactive manner, take ownership, and maintain a positive approach, even when priorities change. You have a good sense of humor, strong collaboration skills, and thrive in a dynamic role that combines routine tasks with development activities.
