At Bavarian Nordic, we are looking for a QA Senior Specialist to join our Corporate Audit & Inspection team.
About the Team
You will join a growing global team of seven colleagues located across Kvistgård, Denmark; Bern, Switzerland; and Martinsried, Germany.
The team’s mission is to ensure GMP compliance across Bavarian Nordic’s supplier network and internal processes by integrating regulatory standards seamlessly throughout the organisation. Core areas of responsibility include Supplier Qualification, Internal Audits, Supplier Change Notifications, Supplier Complaints, Inspection Management, and Regulatory Intelligence.
This is primarily a remote role with flexibility regarding on-site presence, depending on business needs and personal preference. The position reports to the Head of Audit & Inspection, based in Bern, Switzerland. While the team works largely remotely, colleagues regularly meet across sites to collaborate, share knowledge, and strengthen global alignment.

As QA Senior Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing Partner and Supplier Change Notifications
- Performing Supplier Qualifications within the cGMP area
- Conducting Internal Audits within the cGMP area
- Processing and maintaining Quality Agreements
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of processes within the Audit & Inspection department
- Acting as a key contact and subject matter expert within Audit & Inspection and GMP-related topics
Are You Our Next Pioneer?
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you:
- Hold a degree in Natural Sciences (BSc, MSc, or PhD)
- Bring a minimum of 5 years’ experience from a GxP-regulated environment
- Have solid expertise within Supplier Qualification processes, including hands-on auditing experience
- Possess a strong understanding of Quality Assurance processes, including GMP and ISO requirements
- Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken; additional language skills like German, French or Danish are considered an advantage.
