Overview

Shionogi is growing and looking for an exceptional Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to join our Talent Acquisition team. The Senior TA Manager will support our four (4) Sales field based teams along with Market Access, Sales Operations, and other areas as assigned. The individual will be responsible for developing and driving recruitment strategies and supporting Hiring Manager and HR relationships within assigned functional areas. 

Responsibilities

  • Work in partnership with HRBP from role approval through offer to develop and execute targeted recruiting strategies that support business goals.
  • Facilitate effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent and develop a strong, qualified candidate pool for current and future openings.
  • Proactively pipeline and pre-screen diverse slates of candidates (passive and non-passive), partnering with team members to manage sourcing strategies and supplying talent for open positions.
  • Provides positive and clear communication with hiring managers throughout the recruitment process; aligning on sourcing strategy, interview approach, and decision-making while establishing clear roles, expectations, and mutually agreed-upon timelines. 
  • Manage ATS requisitions compliantly, ensuring accurate data tracking and reporting, in accordance with TA processes. 
  • Compile and communicate the knowledge base, industry insights and market trends to team members and business leaders.
  • Oversee the interview debrief process. Be a trusted advisor that supplies direct feedback to the hiring team and influences hiring decisions.
  • Partner with the compensation and HRBP team, recommend offer packages and negotiate employment offers.
  • Partner with broader HR team to integrate company values and competencies into the recruiting process.
  • Provides backup coverage for the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, supporting daily departmental initiatives, reporting and projects as required. 

Minimum Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ degree preferred with a minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical Talent Acquisition. 
  • Must include recent proven success in managing full-cycle recruitment with a focus in field-based Sales Recruiting and other field based commercial roles. 
  • Ideal candidate will have both agency and industry experience supporting pharmaceutical industry.
  • Full cycle recruiting experience in the pharmaceutical industry including sourcing (active and passive candidates), utilizing employee referrals and professional networking groups while leveraging cost effective methods to locate and secure top talent in a timely fashion.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance to state/federal employment laws for compliant applicant tracking.
  • Extensive experience managing candidates processes with a positive candidate experience.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (iCIMS), job board-posting, progressive sourcing and recruiting strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and good negotiation skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels and communicate with business stakeholders cross functionally; ability to approach stakeholders with difficult messages and defend positions. 
  • Must be a self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Other Requirements

  • Must live a commutable distance to our US Corporate Headquarters in Florham Park, NJ. Office presence required 50% per month, at least 2-3 days per week.
  • Additional in-office requirements may arise and anticipated domestic travel up to 10%

Additional Information

The base salary range for this full-time position is $135,000 - $165,000. Individual pay is determined by several factors, which include but are not limited to: job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The range does not include the comprehensive benefits, bonus, long-term incentive, applicable allowances, or any additional compensation that may be associated with this role.
