About the role

The Invoicing Manager plays a critical role within Haleon Trading Services, supporting the accurate and timely creation of trade invoices and credit notes related to the movement of goods between Haleon entities and third party manufacturers. Reporting to the Invoicing Senior Manager, this position is key to ensuring the continuity of the supply chain while fully complying with global trade, financial, legal, fiscal, quality, and compliance requirements.

This is a highly hands on role in a dynamic environment that requires quick decision making, strong attention to detail, and the ability to proactively resolve issues. The role also contributes to broader business initiatives, continuous improvement efforts, and the strengthening of governance and control frameworks across invoicing and data related processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the end to end execution of trade invoicing and credit notes related to the movement of goods between internal entities and external manufacturing partners.
  • Ensure that supply chain activities are not delayed due to invoicing, data, or documentation issues.
  • Complete invoice corrections accurately and in a timely manner, in alignment with quality, compliance, and finance requirements.
  • Continuously improve business and data processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service delivery.
  • Maintain and manage key financial and logistical data within the enterprise resource planning system.
  • Monitor operational performance through regular reporting, ensuring data accuracy and alignment across multiple systems.
  • Proactively manage and resolve operational issues and escalations, implementing preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
  • Build strong working relationships with the outsourced service provider and collaborate closely with finance, supply chain, logistics, quality, and manufacturing teams.
  • Ensure all processes are fully documented, regularly reviewed, and compliant with internal control and quality standards.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate information and resolving findings in a timely manner.
  • Act as a role model of Haleon’s behaviors, promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and essential skills

Education and experience

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least seven years of experience in supply chain or finance related processes, including trade invoicing and credit notes. Experience with transfer pricing is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working in large, global organizations with complex financial and supply chain operations.
  • Proven experience working in environments with strong internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience using enterprise level financial and supply chain systems.
  • Experience working with outsourced service providers is preferred.

Technical and professional skills

  • Strong understanding of enterprise financial and logistical processes.
  • Ability to manage and maintain the integrity of large volumes of data.
  • High level of proficiency in English.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.

Interpersonal and behavioral skills

  • Highly organized, disciplined, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work effectively in diverse, multicultural, and cross-functional teams.
