As Distribution & Account Manager, you will take ownership of one of our most important European distribution partnerships, driving growth, performance, and strategic alignment across countries while working at the heart of our commercial organization.

The Role & Your Impact

This is a senior, high-impact commercial role with end-to-end responsibility for a key European distribution partner and associated accounts. You will define and execute the distribution strategy, lead commercial governance, and ensure strong execution across markets—directly contributing to profitable growth within Baking Europe.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Owning and executing the strategic account and distribution plan for a key European partner, delivering profitable growth
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with distributor leadership and key customer stakeholders
  • Leading joint business planning, including growth roadmaps, performance management, and governance across markets
  • Identifying and unlocking growth opportunities across applications, customer segments, and geographies
  • Leading commercial negotiations (pricing, contracts, and frameworks) and ensuring strong governance
  • Acting as the central commercial orchestrator across matrix teams to ensure aligned execution and delivery
  • Ensuring end-to-end accountability from commercial agreements through to operational execution

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

To succeed in this role, you bring strong commercial judgment, strategic

thinking, and the ability to lead through influence in a complex, matrix organization.

We expect that you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, key account management, or distribution management
  • Proven experience managing strategic distribution partners and/or large multinational customers
  • Strong commercial acumen, including pricing, contract negotiation, and value-based selling
  • Experience operating across regions and cultures in a matrix organization
  • Fluency in English

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

While not required, experience from a biotech, food ingredients, baking, or other science-driven industrial environment would be a strong advantage. Additional European language skills are also valued, as is prior involvement in go-to-market or distribution strategy development. We also appreciate a resilient, execution-driven mindset with the ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.

Ways of Working / Working Conditions

This role offers flexibility in location, with Denmark, Switzerland, or another European country. You will work in a hybrid setup with an office-first approach and collaborate closely with colleagues across Europe. The position requires a willingness to travel approximately 30–50% of the time to support distributor and customer engagement. It is a full-time role following a standard Monday–Friday schedule, aligned with local working hours in the employee’s country of residence.
