Job Description:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant scientific information (by performing literature searches, participation
in medical congresses and conferences of relevance to Ipsen’s disease and therapeutic area interests).
- Responsible for facilitating scientific exchanges with the panel of doctors and identifying insights to share with
the brand team.
- Proactively provide fair, balanced, and transparent medical and scientific exchange in disease area
management.
- Current and potential sources of clinical and scientific expertise (known experts, rising stars, etc.)
- Current and potential principal investigators, speakers
- Need for scientific information in the disease area and therapy of individual KTLs/HCPs
- Identification and initiation of opportunities to fulfill these.
- Identify and invite KTL and appropriately qualified HCP participation in Advisory Boards and scientific
congresses
- Identify opportunities to inform KTLs and HCPs in disease areas of interest to Ipsen
- Organize and participate in the distribution and presentation of non-promotional materials, and in key projects
within the unit where his or her contribution is important
- Provide scientific and medical content for, and participate in, the preparation and delivery of presentations by
KTLs and HCPs speaking on behalf of Ipsen in educational programs and at other meetings.
- Support internal medical review and facilitate processing of unsolicited RWE projects, and keep the cross-
functional team informed about updates regarding the molecules under their responsibility, organizing and
actively participating in internal training sessions
- Support Medical Information Process across- Portfolio
REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrates scientific acumen and sound medical judgment, which provides value to Ipsen and leads to
sustainable relationships with HCPs.
- Maintains highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-
functional teams.
- Demonstrates the ability to build and maintain a strong network of effective scientific relationships with
stakeholders and maintain an understanding for HCPs, to achieve trusted advisor status.
- Is an engaging presenter/trainer, impactful and memorable, having gravitas with medics and non-medics alike,
and strong communication, networking, and stakeholder skills
- Is able to understand and implement appropriate elements of medical strategy, whilst understanding how to be
creative & compliant at the same time.
