You will be part of a highly collaborative team working closely with stakeholders across the organization. Our work is project-driven, fast-paced, and often unpredictable - requiring strong ownership, adaptability, and sound judgment. Together, we drive transactions from origination through closing and handover to integration.
 

The Role & Your Impact


As M&A Project Manager, you will play a central role in executing global M&A projects across Novonesis’ business units. The role combines a strong focus on delivery and analytical rigor with extensive exposure to a broad and diverse stakeholder landscape, as well as contributing insights and analyses to key decision-making forums.


You will contribute hands‑on to due diligence, valuation, and opportunity assessment, while managing complex stakeholder landscapes and supporting high‑quality strategic decisions.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing due diligence processes with internal and external stakeholders, including coordinating and communicating with large cross‑functional teams
  • Owning and driving valuation work and financial analyses to support investment decisions
  • Preparing clear, structured materials for executive and senior leadership discussions
  • Conduct market research, mapping, and opportunity screening
  • Support the identification and assessment of new opportunities in close collaboration with business units, including driving end-to-end evaluations of potential targets (strategic fit, commercial attractiveness, competitive positioning, technology and capability relevance, and integration feasibility) and translating these into clear recommendations for senior leadership Develop and execute engagement strategies with prospective companies

What You’ll Need to Be Successful


Education & experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in finance degree in finance, business, or a related field
  • 4–6 years of relevant M&A advisory experience, with solid exposure to project management, due diligence processes and valuation work


Professional skills

  • Full professional proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken


Essential capabilities

  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • High adaptability and comfort working in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments
  • Ownership mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Proven team player who collaborates well across functions and seniority levels

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

  • Experience with AI applications in open-source intelligence (OSINT) and data parsing is a plus

Ways of Working / Working Conditions

  • Primarily office‑based in Lyngby.
  • Minimum of 3 days per week in the office, with flexibility to work from home as needed to balance personal commitments, higher-than-average workloads, and collaboration across multiple time zones during active deal phases.
  • Moderate travel required (up to 10-15%)
