In this role you’ll make an impact by:
Develop and implement reliability improvement strategies to enhance mechanical asset performance and lifecycle.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve recurring equipment failures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs using tools such as vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis.
Participate in new equipment design reviews and installations to ensure systems are reliable, efficient, and maintainable.
Perform reliability analysis on critical mechanical systems and monitor KPIs to drive improvement.
Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability while optimizing costs.
Provide technical support during equipment overhauls, repairs, and upgrades, and explore advanced technologies for reliability improvement and energy saving.
To succeed you must hold:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical reliability, maintenance, or engineering within an industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, compressors, rotating machinery, and piping systems.
Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies such as vibration analysis, thermography, and lubrication analysis.
Experience with reliability tools and methodologies, strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Skilled at reading and creating mechanical drawings, familiarity with electrical, pneumatic diagrams, and P&IDs.
Good command of English in speaking, listening, and writing.
