About the Team
The People Services Excellence team plays a pivotal role in supporting the strategic goals of People Services by delivering exceptional service through efficient processes and data-driven insights. This global, multi-disciplinary team specializes in process improvement, data analytics, reporting, and project execution. We collaborate across regional and global capability centers to drive consistency, innovation, and continuous improvement, always keeping the voice of the customer at the core of our solutions.
About the Role
As an HR Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of complex custom reports in Workday HCM. Your work will directly support
strategic decision-making and enhance business performance through accurate and insightful reporting.
Key Responsibilities
· Maintain and optimize the existing portfolio of Workday HCM custom reports.
· Develop, test, and deploy new custom reports and calculated fields based on business needs.
· Lead initiatives to enhance, consolidate, or decommission reports in alignment with evolving requirements.
· Manage report security and access permissions in collaboration with the Data Privacy team.
· Utilize Workday tools such as Dashboards, Worklets, Discovery Boards, and Worksheets to improve user experience.
· Support internal and external audits by ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
· Monitor and resolve report defects, implementing preventive measures.
· Stay current with Workday releases and implement necessary updates.
· Conduct training sessions and provide self-service reporting guidance to HR stakeholders.
· Collaborate with Workday Tech and other cross-functional teams to ensure optimal reporting performance.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
· 7–10 years of experience in Workday custom reporting and calculated fields.
· Proficiency in Workday Report Writer and understanding of Workday data architecture.
· Experience with object-oriented database systems.
· Strong knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
· Experience managing report security and access controls.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
· Workday certifications (e.g., Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Advanced Reporting, HCM Fundamentals).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Effective communication and collaboration skills.
