About the role

The APAC OTC Expert Lead is a strategic regional leadership role responsible for driving growth across Haleon’s Over the Counter (OTC) portfolio by strengthening expert engagement, customer strategy, and field execution excellence across Asia-Pacific markets.

Sitting within the Commercial/Professional & Expert function, this role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and medical teams to shape the OTC expert ecosystem, including pharmacies, healthcare professionals, and key opinion leaders. You will ensure strong alignment between commercial strategy, expert advocacy, and in-market execution to deliver sustainable growth across priority brands such as Panadol.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver regional sales and P&L performance across the OTC portfolio, translating strategy into strong in-market execution across APAC

  • Develop and execute customer and channel strategies across pharmacy, clinic, and healthcare professional (HCP) ecosystems

  • Drive field execution excellence, including distribution, visibility, merchandising, and pricing optimisation across key accounts

  • Own and lead strategic account negotiations and joint business planning with key customers and partners

  • Build and strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals, pharmacy networks, and key opinion leaders to drive brand advocacy

  • Define and optimise field force strategy and investment, ensuring effective coverage and impact across markets

  • Identify and unlock growth opportunities through data-driven insights, category strategies, and customer development plans

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical, and Trade teams to deliver integrated commercial and expert engagement strategies.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, key account management, or commercial leadership within FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, or pharmaceutical sectors

  • Experience developing and executing channel or customer strategies to drive market growth

  • Strong track record in managing key accounts and delivering results against sales and P&L targets

  • Experience working with pharmacy, clinic, hospital, or healthcare-related channels

  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to identify opportunities and drive performance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to develop and lead high-performing teams

  • Established network within pharmacy, healthcare professional, or OTC ecosystems across APAC

  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills across senior stakeholders

  • Experience working in matrix organisations with regional scope

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision and short-term delivery
