About the role

The role of Tmall Supermarket and Taobao Distribution will be the primary driver of our brand’s growth and partnership within these key platforms. You will be responsible for building and strengthening relationships with platform stakeholders, developing and executing strategic sales and operational plans, and ensuring our brands achieve strong visibility, sales performance, and market share.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with key counterparts at Tmall Supermarket and Taobao Distribution, ensuring alignment on business goals, promotional activities, and operational requirements.
  • Formulate and implement annual/quarterly sales and operational plans for Tmall Supermarket and Taobao Distribution, including sales targets, inventory planning, promotional calendars, and marketing activities.
  • Analyze sales performance, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities, optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions, and drive continuous improvement in platform performance.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, and logistics teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns, timely order fulfillment, and resolution of operational issues.
  • Monitor and report on key business metrics, providing regular performance updates, insights, and actionable recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on platform policies, tools, and industry trends, and proactively explore new features or programs to enhance our presence and competitiveness on Tmall Supermarket and Taobao Distribution.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor Degree and above
  • 5+ years of experience in key account management, e‑commerce operations, or trade marketing, with a proven track record in managing Tmall Supermarket and/or Taobao Distribution businesses.
  • Deep understanding of the Tmall and Taobao ecosystem, including platform tools, traffic mechanisms, promotional models, and vendor operation processes.
  • Strong data analysis skills, with proficiency in using platform data tools (e.g., Data Center), Excel, and other analytical software to derive insights and drive business decisions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to interact effectively with platform partners and internal cross‑functional teams.
  • Result‑oriented, with strong project management and problem‑solving abilities to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
