What you will do

The Sr. Manager for Future of Innovation will identify and advance inorganic Self Care segment growth opportunities, including Rx-to-OTC switch, by building actionable strategies and translating priority acquisition targets into decision-ready business cases. Partner closely with Corporate Development as the primary commercial contact for deal progression and lead cross-functional alignment across internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain an actionable inorganic growth strategy for the Self Care segment, including a prioritized pipeline of acquisition and partnership targets and an actively managed Rx-to-OTC switch opportunity portfolio aligned to a standardized valuation approach.
  • Build decision-ready business cases for selected opportunities, including financial models, technical feasibility inputs, and consumer/market learning plans.
  • Own financial forecasting and scenario modeling to evaluate value creation, sensitivities, and key drivers; maintain transparent assumptions and document valuation shifts and probability updates as inputs evolve.
  • Lead cross-functional Rx-to-OTC program management across stakeholders (e.g., Corporate Development, Regulatory, Medical, R&D, Legal, Finance, Insights, Government Affairs, and regional business leaders) to coordinate diligence, align milestones, and advance opportunities through defined governance checkpoints toward deal progression.
  • Partner closely with Corporate Development as the primary commercial contact for deal progression, ensuring tight alignment on diligence priorities, external engagement, and internal decision-making.
  • Lead primary research / insights planning (with internal and external partners) and establish a forward-looking market intelligence cadence to monitor competitor activity, LOE timing, regulatory signals, and policy developments relevant to the opportunity pipeline.
  • Develop executive-ready storytelling (PowerPoint/memos) and deliver recurring briefings and/or workshops that synthesize complexity into clear options, trade-offs, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
  • Research category Rx-to-OTC switch context with business owners; evaluate switch candidates and frame opportunity narratives (including business case development); coordinate cross-functional feasibility inputs and milestone planning; build a pharma relationship map and engagement plan; and create external-facing pitch narratives for pharma partners.

Key Stakeholders / Interfaces:

  • Internal: Corporate Development, Regulatory, Medical, R&D, Legal, Finance, Insights, Government Affairs, regional business leaders.
  • External: pharma partners, agencies, research vendors, consultants.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in CPG, pharma, and/or consulting in roles including marketing, strategy, or business/corporate development.
  • Familiarity with market research approaches (e.g., concept testing, pricing, A&U) and how to translate learnings into commercial decisions.
  • Demonstrated strength in financial modeling in Excel, comfort with data, structured problem solving, and PowerPoint storytelling.
  • Proven ability to lead in ambiguity, drive cross-functional alignment, and deliver high-quality outputs under tight timelines.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to translate complex inputs into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working on an active switch program and/or leading switch strategy.
  • Experience in consumer health and/or pharma preferred.
