Position Summary You will join our manufacturing team in Singapore as a Senior Biotechnologist. You will lead and support end-to-end biologics production activities in a regulated environment. You will work closely with operators, engineers, quality and technical services to deliver safe, reliable and efficient manufacturing. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Lead daily production activities to ensure safe, reliable and timely process execution. - Supervise and coach operators, provide on-the-job training and support skill development. - Prepare, review and maintain clear batch records, procedures and work instructions. - Support equipment commissioning, qualification and process change handovers. - Investigate process deviations, lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. - Identify and lead continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Diploma or degree in biotechnology, chemical engineering, life sciences or related field. - Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in manufacturing, pilot plant or bioprocess operations in a regulated industry. - Practical experience with process steps such as media and buffer preparation, fermentation/bioreactor operation or downstream purification workflows. - Strong documentation skills and ability to follow good manufacturing practice and safety procedures. - Clear written and spoken English and strong record-keeping habits. - Able to work on-site full time in Singapore. This role is on-site. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Experience with commissioning, qualification or technology transfer activities. - Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methods. - Hands-on knowledge of chromatography, filtration, ultrafiltration/diafiltration or centrifugation. - Experience writing and improving SOPs, work instructions and training materials. - Basic data analysis skills and experience using spreadsheets or simple dashboards. - Experience working across operations, engineering and quality in cross-functional teams.
