The Role

Initially, you will lead a cross-functional SAP programme supporting Genmab’s worldwide commercial expansion. The implementation spans Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, and IT.

You will own the end-to-end delivery from early scope definition and gap analysis through execution and transition to steady state in running operations. You will ensure clear governance, disciplined prioritization, and sustainable outcomes, including future scalable governance and system oversight to ensure that Genmab’s SAP solution continuously supports business needs.

This role requires strong executive presence, decision-making authority, and the ability to balance speed, compliance, and long-term scalability. The position is an onsite in Copenhagen and reports to Vice President, Head of Commercial Supply Chain.

What Success Looks Like

A scalable SAP backbone for worldwide commercial supply chain operations is in place. Manual workarounds are eliminated, and sustainable, scalable governance is embedded, enabling Genmab to expand commercial operations with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP commercialization programs supporting global supply chain expansion

  • Translate commercial operating models into clear SAP scope and execution plans for supply chain and financial operations

  • Establish and run effective program governance, decision forums, and escalation paths

  • Drive cross-functional alignment and enforce clear priorities and trade-offs

  • Own delivery planning, risk management, dependencies, and external partner coordination

  • Ensure SAP solutions are inspection-ready, compliant, and scalable across regions

  • Establish the foundation for future ownership of SAP Supply Chain solutions, ensuring continued development and fit-for-purpose support for business needs


Requirements

  • Total 10-15+ years of experience leading complex programs in Biotech, Pharma, or other regulated industries

  • Proven delivery of SAP4HANA/ERP programs, with commercial or supply chain scope

  • Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes, 3PL management, inventory management, distribution, and reporting in a regulated commercial operation

  • Experience operating at senior executive level in matrix organizations

  • Track record of disciplined execution, governance, and stakeholder management
