Job Description

Overview Summary This role partners with Technical Operations to drive accurate and timely monthly close activities by collecting, analyzing, and reporting inventory accounting data, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and Corporate Finance policies and controls. Duties and Responsibilities Performs monthly closing processes in accordance with corporate deadlines. Oversees inventory movements and partners with Technical Operations team to prepare and reconcile the inventory subledger against third-party stock reports. Prepares global inventory fluctuation analyses and provides detailed explanations of variances. Calculates annual standard costs, updates the ERP system, and reconciles year-end inventory revaluations. Reviews and verifies intercompany inventory transactions. Reconciles and monitors the prepaid inventory account Reconciles the Goods Received not Invoiced (GRNI) account and collaborates with Accounts Payable to resolve aged balances. Partners with Technical Operations to prepare and review monthly accruals. Prepares the forecasts, budgets and reports monthly actuals for the assigned cost centers Oversees the annual physical inventory counts and prepares supporting documentation for audit review. Prepares and maintains SOX controls documentation and ensures ongoing compliance. Leads process improvement initiatives to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of inventory transactions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Solid financial experience Strong cost accounting knowledge and experience Experience with SAP or similar ERP system Internal manufacturing knowledge is a plus Advanced Excel skills Fluent in English and French Business partnering mindset Strong team player with good interpersonal skills Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job.
