Role: Senior IT Manager for Delivery Excellence

Location: Krakow – 3 days/ week onsite

We are seeking a Senior IT Manager of Delivery Excellence to lead and standardise application delivery practices across Global IT.

This role is responsible for defining and implementing the global delivery excellence roadmap, establishing governance standards, and ensuring consistent service and application delivery across domains and regions. You will work closely with IT leadership, domain owners and strategic service partners to strengthen delivery processes, improve controls and increase operational efficiency.

You will lead the Delivery Excellence function, oversee key delivery processes including Release Management, Testing Management and Application Lifecycle Management, and drive continuous improvement across IT application teams.

This is a global role with significant visibility and impact, focused on improving how IT delivers at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Design, Development and Implementation:

    • Develop and implement Global IT delivery excellence roadmap aligned with Global IT strategy

    • Establish and own governance standards, policies, and best practices for IT service and application delivery

    • Set and oversee controls for application and service delivery, making sure that all domains and services follows IT function standards and company governance policies.

    • Identify inefficiencies in IT delivery, lead optimization initiatives and tailored improvement plans

    • Build framework and provide recurring process maturity assessments for IT application teams in terms of delivery processes

    • Drive definition and implementation of application delivery tooling strategy and roadmap

    • Driving internal IT efficiency improvement by process optimization and standardization

    • Be responsible for delivery of selected cross-stream application maintenance services

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Service as strategic advisor, work closely with IT Service providers, to maximize ROI from joint and ensure they delivery is aligned to the Galderma’s delivery standards

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and best practices in IT application  services

    • Accountable to provide guidance, support and understanding for the design and implementation of service and application delivery process,  share best practices within IT community
       

  • Service and Team Management:

    • Lead a team composed functional Subject Matter Experts, ensure that they establish proper framework and offering towards IT teams in accordance to the Department goals and strategy

    • Build and maintain Delivery Excellence department service catalogue and offering towards Application teams, make sure it reflects departments target and it’s aligned with Global IT strategy
       

  • Ownership for the following delivery processes:

    • Release management

    • Testing Management

    • Application Lifecycle Management

Skills and Qualifications

  • 12+ years of extensive working experience in IT Service delivery management within global corporate environment

  • 5+ years in Global IT Manager, IT Delivery Lead or similar roles

  • Deep Understanding and experience in IT Service and Project Delivery standards, best practices and market trends

  • A deep practical understanding of IT Service Management, IT Governance, IT Project Management and Vendor Management.

  • Experience in streamlining and consolidating processes across technologies, delivery process and team management.

  • Fluency in English.
