Job Description

The Metabolic Brand Manager leads the strategy and execution of brands within the Metabolic portfolio, with focus on Bone and Diabetes therapeutic areas. The role drives brand performance through strategic planning, insights-driven decision-making, and strong cross functional alignment, while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and ethical standards.

1.Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement brand strategy and annual brand plans aligned with local and global priorities.

  • Contribute to Integrated Brand Teams and Launch Teams.

  • Translate strategy into clear, compliant tactical activities.

Execution & Performance

  • Manage omnichannel promotional activities and ensure approval of all materials.

  • Monitor brand performance, market dynamics, and competitor activity.

  • Analyze insights (IQVIA/IMS, CRM, digital analytics) and recommend corrective actions.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build relationships with endocrinologists, osteoporosis specialists, KOLs, OLs, and metabolic centers.

  • Gather customer insights to refine positioning, messaging, and initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Commercial Excellence, and Sales to ensure integrated execution.

  • Support pricing, reimbursement discussions, and demand planning.

Financial & Operational Management

  • Manage brand budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.

  • Support S&OP processes and ensure product availability.

  • Maintain full compliance with SOPs, regulatory requirements, and EFPIA guidelines.

Sales Force Support

  • Provide strategic direction, messaging, and training materials for field force teams.

  • Conduct field visits to ensure message consistency and collect feedback.

2.Key Performance Indicators

  • Market share and market growth.

  • Brand plan execution quality and KPI performance.

  • Forecast accuracy and budget adherence.

  • Compliance with internal and external standards.

  • Quality of cross-functional and stakeholder engagement.

3. Minimum Requirements

Experience

  • 2-3 years in Brand Management within pharma, ideally in Bone and Diabetes.

  • Experience in cross-functional and matrix environments.

  • Demonstrated project management and operational execution skills.

Skills

  • Marketing strategy, lifecycle management, omnichannel execution.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data.

  • Effective communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.

  • Customer-centered mindset and strong stakeholder engagement.

Education

  • Degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences (Master’s preferred).
