This role will require close collaboration with local and global stakeholders to ensure deployments are completed on schedule, within scope, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will be accountable for coordinating project activities, managing risks and issues, and providing clear communication throughout the deployment lifecycle.
Additionally, the role will involve developing project plans, monitoring progress, and facilitating effective change management to support user adoption and operational readiness in each country.

Job Summary

The Project Manager for Country Deployments – LabVantage will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and integration of the LabVantage Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) across multiple country sites according to the STEP country deployment plan. This role will require close collaboration with local and global stakeholders to ensure deployments are completed on schedule, within scope, and to the required quality standards. The Project Manager will be accountable for coordinating project activities, managing risks and issues, and providing clear communication throughout the deployment lifecycle.


Additionally, the role will involve developing project plans, monitoring progress, and facilitating effective change management to support user adoption and operational readiness in each country.

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the end-to-end country deployment of LabVantage and Scitara, ensuring project objectives, timelines, and deliverables are met. 
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including both direct and indirect reports, to drive project activities and resolve integration challenges effectively. 
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to the key stakeholders. 
  • Identify potential risks and issues related to application integration, implementing proactive mitigation strategies to minimise impact on project delivery. 
  • Facilitate clear communication between technical teams, business units, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful adoption of the integrated solution. 
  • Champion best practices in project management and application integration, contributing to the continuous improvement of STEP Technology initiatives. 

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 5+ years of experience in project delivery and/or application management or IT services within a multinational organization.   
  • Expert knowledge and experience in key Laboratory products (e.g. LabVantage LIMS; Scitara,) and in the implementation and operations of those.  
  • Good leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. 
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills  
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive change and innovation. 
  • Experience in managing global projects and working in diverse cultural environments. 
  • Proficiency in using advanced software tools and platforms relevant to the job. 
  • Experience with ITIL frameworks and other service management methodologies. 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Business Administration, or related field; (Master’s degree is preferred) 
  • Certification in project management methods (Agile, ITIL, Prince 2, PMI) is a plus. 
  • Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies; Certification is a plus
