The Role & Your Impact
- Implementing and upholding construction quality standards, procedures and inspection plans across multiple projects.
- Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, method statements and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) from a quality perspective.
- Monitoring contractor execution to ensure compliance with design, specifications, codes and contract requirements.
- Supporting GMP‑related facility quality requirements, including cleanrooms, zoning, flows, surface finishes, utilities and hygienic design.
- Conducting quality walkdowns and pre‑handover inspections for clean and controlled areas.
- Performing site inspections and quality audits, managing non‑conformances (NCRs) and following up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensuring completeness and accuracy of inspection records, test reports and as‑built documentation prior to handover.
- Collaborating closely with construction, EHS, engineering, validation and user teams, and providing regular quality status updates and risk highlights to project leadership.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Civil Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in construction quality control or quality assurance for industrial or large‑scale building projects.
- Solid understanding of construction methods, standards and quality control processes (civil, structural, architectural and/or MEI).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, standards and inspection/test records.
- Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills and follow‑up capability.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with contractors, supervisors and international teams.
- English proficiency sufficient for technical documentation, reporting and daily coordination.
Additional Skills & Interests We Value
- Experience with food, pharmaceutical, biotech or other clean / regulated facilities.
- Familiarity with GMP‑related facility design and construction requirements.
- Experience working on overseas or multicultural project sites.
- Knowledge of commissioning and qualification readiness from a construction quality perspective.
- Additional local language skills relevant to the project location.
