In this role, you will join the Quality Operations team at our Saskatoon site, supporting BioAg operations and ensuring that our products, processes, and systems meet both internal and external quality requirements.
 

You will collaborate closely with site stakeholders and global counterparts to strengthen quality systems, uphold certifications, and support regulatory compliance across the organization.

The Role & Your Impact

As a Quality Management Specialist I / II, you will play an important role in maintaining and continuously improving Quality Operations at the Saskatoon facility. This role is primarily operational with strong cross‑functional collaboration, supporting global quality initiatives while ensuring local regulatory and certification compliance.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting product and process quality activities, including customer complaints, product approvals, non‑conformance reports (NCRs), and SAP‑related quality processes

  • Managing raw material quality, including supplier complaints and risk assessments

  • Supporting regulatory and certification compliance, including audits, GMP, quality culture initiatives, and ISO 9001:2015 requirements

  • Collaborating with local and global counterparts to ensure consistency of critical quality processes

  • Driving continuous improvement of quality systems and practice

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree

  • 2 years of industry‑related experience in quality‑specific programs

  • Working knowledge of quality systems, GMP, and regulatory requirements

  • Ability to work independently with limited day‑to‑day supervision

  • Strong collaboration skills to engage effectively with site stakeholders and global partners

Key competencies:

  • High level of personal accountability and work ethic

  • Strong learning mindset and willingness to develop within Quality systems

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to support compliance‑driven environments with attention to detail

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

While not required, it is an advantage if you have:

  • Experience supporting ISO 9001:2015 audits

  • Familiarity with SAP quality modules

  • Prior exposure to BioAg, manufacturing, or regulated environments

  • Interest in quality culture and continuous improvement initiatives

Ways of Working / Working Conditions

This is an on-site role at the Saskatoon facility.
The position requires close collaboration with local teams and interaction with global quality stakeholders. Occasional support during audits or inspections may be required.

Compensation & Benefits

Expected salary range: CAD $80 to $100
