You will join the Planning team within our Supply Chain organization—a group of 9 passionate professionals who act as the vital link between Sales and Operations. The team translates market demand into clear, executable supply and inventory plans that support smooth, efficient operations across the business.
Working closely with Sales, Business Finance, Global Supply Managers, Production, Logistics, and Capacity Planning, the team contributes directly to Novonesis’ purpose by ensuring reliable product availability, proactive risk management, and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

The Role & Your Impact

As a Demand and Supply Planner, you will hold a mixed operational and optimization‑focused role with clear ownership of demand planning and supply coordination. Your work will ensure accurate forecasts, reliable supply execution, and transparent communication across key stakeholders—directly impacting service level, inventory performance, and business continuity.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Analyzing sales trends, reviewing historical forecast accuracy, and creating a rolling 24‑month demand forecast
  • Establishing strong interfaces with Sales and Business Finance and leading meetings in line with the demand planning process
  • Setting, reviewing, and maintaining MRP master data to ensure planning accuracy
  • Placing intercompany orders and proactively monitoring, evaluating, and communicating supply risks
  • Managing product phase‑in and phase‑out plans to support smooth transitions
  • Providing inventory forecast inputs for BRM reviews

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

Must‑have qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain planning or similar roles, with a proven track record
  • Strong hands‑on experience with MRP systems, including SAP IBP, SAP MM, and APO
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and data analysis / data mining
  • Fluency in English and Chinese, both written and spoken

Essential competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Solid stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast‑paced environment

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

While not required, the following would be considered an advantage:

  • Experience working in complex, cross‑regional or global supply chains
  • Exposure to product lifecycle management and supply risk mitigation
  • A continuous improvement mindset and interest in further developing planning processes and tools
