Account Manager Baking East Africa based in Nairobi.
Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for technical products and customer success? We’re looking for a hands-on, growth-oriented individual to join the Food and Beverage Africa Baking Commercial Team.
What You’ll Do
Lead accounts ensuring our solutions meet customer, market, and competitive demands.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, driving value through strong commercial and technical insights.
Collaborate across teams — Marketing, Technical Service, Supply Operations — to translate technical expertise into business opportunities.
Execute short-term targets while shaping long-term growth strategies for the market.
Operate independently with high ownership.
What We’re Looking For
MSc/MBA in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a technical field — or equivalent experience.
5+ years sales experience, preferably with food and multinational industry experience.
Baking industry experience and technical expertise are a plus.
Strong sales mindset, result-oriented, and growth-driven.
Ability to create an annual budget and strategic account planning are key.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a true team player.
Willingness to travel extensively (50%+) across Africa.
Fluency in English; IT skills required, SAP knowledge is a plus.
