About the Role
Sandoz is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing sales team within a defined territory or product area. This role is a first-line people management position, accountable for driving sales excellence, executing business strategy, and delivering strong commercial results across key therapeutic areas.
The successful candidate will combine strong leadership skills with solid experience in bone, cardiovascular (CV), and diabetes therapeutic areas, and will play a critical role in shaping customer-centric, compliant, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a team of Medical Representatives / Product Specialists to achieve and exceed sales, productivity, and performance targets.
Develop and execute territory and brand business plans aligned with Sandoz strategy, standards, and values.
Drive strategic and tactical execution for assigned brands, ensuring strong launch readiness and in-market performance.
Manage and optimize resource allocation to maximize business impact.
Oversee sales forecasts, operating expenses, and budget management for the assigned area.
Act as a key communication link between Senior Management and the field force.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, decision-makers, key opinion leaders, and patient associations.
Ensure high-level product and disease-area knowledge and continuously coach the team to strengthen scientific and commercial expertise.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, pricing dynamics, and account insights.
Ensure excellence in customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all reporting and administrative requirements.
Operate in full compliance with Sandoz policies, procedures, and ethical standards, fostering a strong compliance culture.
Ensure reporting of adverse events, technical complaints, and special case scenarios related to Sandoz products within 24 hours.
Manage the compliant distribution of marketing samples, where applicable.

Candidate Profile
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sales Manager (or equivalent people management role) within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Proven sales experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
Strong experience and knowledge across bone, cardiovascular (CV), and diabetes therapeutic areas (mandatory).
Experience in pre-launch and launch-related commercial activities.
Solid understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics and compliance requirements.
Existing market knowledge and professional network are considered an advantage.
