The individual fulfilling this role will be responsible for working with the enterprise architect to elaborate and communicate the architecture of the given domain and/or developing architectural solutions for projects and programs in pharmaceutical production and quality assurance.

Job Summary

The Global Senior Domain Solution Architect Manufacturing plays a critical role in aligning technology strategy with business goals, contributes to the development of efficient architectural standards, and formulates the direction and design of architecture for Manufacturing, Quality and Supply chain areas.

The individual fulfilling this role will be responsible for working with the enterprise architect to elaborate and communicate the architecture of the given domain and/or developing architectural solutions for projects and programs in pharmaceutical production and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain solution architectures for manufacturing and quality systems, including MES, LIMS, QMS, SCADA, shopfloor equipment, and ERP integrations
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into compliant, scalable architectural designs
• Apply architecture patterns and standards to guide platform and technology choices
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, manufacturing, quality, and IT stakeholders globally
• Maintain architecture principles, standards, tools, and documentation for the domain
• Contribute to and communicate the manufacturing and quality architecture roadmap
• Assess emerging technologies and vendor solutions for compliance, scalability, and value
• Support digital initiatives such as MES modernisation, IoT, and data‑driven solutions to improve efficiency and agility

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong experience in solution or enterprise architecture within pharmaceutical or life sciences environments
• Deep understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality processes and systems
• Hands‑on experience delivering architecture for complex, regulated programs
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
• Ability to influence and lead across functions without formal authority
• Experience working in global, cross‑cultural organisations
• Comfortable operating in dynamic, regulated, and evolving environments
