About this role

Job Description Summary

The role is responsible for defining and implementing a consistent, cross‑functional brand strategy for all assets transitioning from Global to International Therapeutic Area (TA), up to handover to IBBI. It builds on globally developed early brand strategies, such as Integrated Product Strategies (IPS), and translates them into competitive, fit‑for‑purpose, cross‑functional launch plans for core markets, laying the foundation for successful launches and future Sandoz blockbusters.
At the international level, the role leads strategic, cross‑functional decision‑making for International and above‑brand initiatives, including partnerships and policy shaping. For launched assets, it monitors major events and competitive landscape developments and ensures timely, appropriate strategic responses.
The position works closely with core markets and collaborates with MAP and CE&E teams to shape launch deliverables and TA‑relevant customer experiences, journeys, campaigns, and content for key markets. It also partners closely with the US counterpart to ensure consistent global brand positioning, while leveraging learnings and transferable best practices.
At the regional, cluster, or country level, the role leads, manages, and develops the performance of the current and future TA product portfolio, delivering sales and profit targets within agreed budgets. It builds and develops high‑performing sales and marketing teams and fosters strong, sustainable relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Typically, the role leads a medium to large revenue country organization, with end‑to‑end responsibility for sales and marketing activities, driving performance and defining the operational strategy for the organization.

Job Description

Major accountabilities: 

 

  • Ensures appropriate compliance against company policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for the budget and financial perfomance of the unit.

  • Develops and implements a regional strategic and operational plan for the TA in close collaboration with local and global teams.

  • Closely follows competitors on the market and provides local marketers with tools to evaluate and counteract competitive entrance on the market.

  • Works with external key opinion leaders in the field to implement projects to optimize patient management and drive the TA forward.

  • Reporting of technical complaints / adverse events / special case scenarios related to Sandoz products within 24 hours of receipt -Distribution of marketing samples (where applicable)

     

Key performance indicators:

 

  • Financial & Business results (Revenue growth, Profitability, Market share) -Maximization of launch readiness and portfolio value/ growth of key assets for major markets.

  • Ensuring the delivery of TA Strategy in major markets.

  • Strategy/Market Focus (Resource allocation, Long-term BU strategy and planning, Market access effectiveness/impact, Sandoz market reputation) -Operational Excellence (Delivery against development milestones, Product launch success) -People, Capabilities, and Management (Our Voice survey, Talent development, talent acquisition, Culture, D&I KPIs, Succession Plans strength, High profile turnover, Code of Ethics)

     

Minimum Requirements:
