Are you motivated by improving how data supports business decisions across a global organization? As a Master Data Specialist at Novonesis, you will play a key role in ensuring high‑quality, reliable master data that enables efficient operations and supports enterprise‑wide initiatives. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, contributing to transformation efforts that strengthen data governance and operational excellence.
The Role & Your Impact
This role combines operational ownership with project‑based and change‑driven responsibilities within the master data domain. You will contribute to transformation initiatives, support governance frameworks, and help ensure that master data is accurate, consistent, and aligned with organizational goals.
Your responsibilities include supporting or leading initiatives to modernize master data processes and tools, identifying opportunities to improve how master data is created, maintained, and used across the organization, and contributing to enterprise system implementations by ensuring effective master data integration. You will manage master data‑related projects from planning through execution, collaborating closely with IT and business stakeholders, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and communicating updates throughout the project lifecycle. In addition, you will support governance efforts by enforcing standards, conducting data quality audits, and recommending improvements that enhance accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in hands on master data, project management, or a related role.
- Familiarity with master data management concepts, data governance frameworks, and change management methodologies.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP, CRM, or other business process systems such as SAP or Salesforce.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- The ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
Additional Skills & Interests We Value
Hands on experience working with multiple master data domains such as customer, supplier, product, or financial data is an advantage. An analytical mindset and the ability to translate complex data issues into practical solutions will strengthen your impact in the role. Experience presenting to stakeholders or supporting cross‑functional initiatives in a global organization is also valued but not required.
What We Offer
At Novonesis, you will join a collaborative and purpose‑driven organization where your contribution makes a difference. You will gain hands‑on experience with enterprise‑wide master data initiatives while working in a professional environment characterized by strong cross‑functional collaboration. We support continuous learning and development to help you grow your technical skills and broaden your understanding of data governance and transformation, all within a culture that values accountability, ownership, and knowledge sharing.
