We will be hiring three students for our Global procurement team over the next few months. The Procurement Excellence team is part of Novonesis’ global procurement organization and plays a key role in enabling data driven, sustainable, and efficient procurement. The team supports procurement colleagues worldwide by providing data analytics, tools, process support, and sustainability integration guidance.


As a Student Assistant, you will join a collaborative, international team that works closely across functions and regions, contributing directly to Novonesis’ purpose of driving sustainable solutions through science and innovation.


The Role & Your Impact
This Student Assistant role offers hands on learning and real business exposure within procurement excellence, sustainability, and digital innovation. You will support both analytical and operational activities and collaborate with stakeholders across global procurement teams.


Your key responsibilities will include one or more of the below:

  • Supporting procurement colleagues with data analytics, insights, and practical assistance related to tools, applications, and reporting

  • Contributing to the development and execution of the Procurement Sustainability Program, including work with sustainability data, metrics, and processes

  • Supporting automation and AI adoption initiatives to improve efficiency and decision making

  • Collaborating with colleagues across Indirect, Direct, and Packaging & Logistics procurement teams in Denmark and globally

  • Assisting with events, coordination activities, and other ad hoc or practical tasks as needed

As we have a pool of student assistants, the specific task and area assignment will be based on your specific skill set and interests, and can be aligned with the hiring manager.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful
To succeed in this role, you are:

  • A student starting a Master’s degree in summer 2026, or a Master’s student in your first year

  • Studying within data & analytics, supply chain management, operational excellence, economics, IT, risk management, or a related field

  • Comfortable working analytically with data and applying theory to real business challenges

  • Willing to support practical, operational, and administrative tasks when needed

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

  • Confident using Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Skills & Interests We Value
While not required, it is an advantage if you:

  • Have experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools

  • Show curiosity and interest in AI, digital tools, and automation

  • Enjoy experimenting with new technologies and smarter ways of working
