About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and innovative Brand Manager – Oncology to lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for a key oncology brand focused on lung cancer.
In this role, you will drive brand growth and lifecycle management, ensuring impactful, patient-focused strategies that deliver value for patients, healthcare professionals, and the organisation. You will work cross-functionally to shape brand direction, innovate in-market, and ensure strong competitive positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Leadership
Develop a deep understanding of the oncology patient journey from diagnosis onward
Translate insights into impactful and competitive marketing strategies
Build and maintain strong relationships with key external oncology stakeholders
Champion a patient-centric approach that drives innovation and value
Strategy & Execution
Lead the creation and implementation of strategic and tactical brand plans
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Medical, Sales, Market Access, etc.)
Adapt global strategies to local market needs
Identify growth opportunities and respond to market dynamics
Deliver engaging omnichannel campaigns and customer engagement strategies
Develop strong value propositions for healthcare professionals and systems
Manage external agencies and suppliers to optimise brand performance
Oversee brand budget management and resource allocation
Deliver on agreed sales, growth, and operational targets
Compliance & Governance
Ensure all activities align with global standards and local regulations
Maintain compliance with company policies, Code of Ethics, and external requirements
Complete all mandatory training and uphold best practices in stakeholder engagement
Candidate Profile
Essential Requirements
Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences
Proven experience in brand management within the pharmaceutical industry
Experience in omnichannel/digital marketing
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to translate scientific insights into actionable marketing strategies
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Business and financial acumen
Strategic, analytical, and creative thinking
Fluent English
MS Office proficiency
Valid driving licence
Desirable
Experience in oncology or oncology brand management
Knowledge of disease awareness and patient support programmes
Leadership experience or potential
Strong understanding of complex healthcare environments
