About the Role

The Senior Manager, Global Wellness Category reports to the Director, Global

Category & Excipients and partners with senior stakeholders across the Wellness Product Category to drive growth, enable end-to-end innovation (ideation through execution), and identify future investment opportunities for Haleon.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Innovation Pipeline:
    Partner with Wellness teams to build a best-in-class innovation pipeline that addresses unmet business needs and supports Haleon’s growth ambitions, leveraging external partnerships and front-end capabilities.


    Category & Technology Expertise:
    Develop a strong understanding of category marketing drivers and build expertise in key technologies across Wellness that will shape future innovation.


    External Sourcing & Scouting:
    Lead scouting, sourcing, and contracting for new ingredients, products, packaging, services, and solutions to support product development and launches.


    Cross-Functional Project Delivery:
    Deliver innovation projects by collaborating closely with R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain (internal and external), Quality, Regulatory, and other functions, with a focus on speed-to-launch and business growth.


    Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management:
    Develop and implement complex sourcing strategies for key technologies while driving supplier relationship management, cost optimization, and complexity reduction across the category.

Qualifications & Skills: 

Essential

  • 5+ years of operational procurement experience across multiple categories, including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and negotiation
  • Experience supporting innovation projects from ideation through to market launch, with understanding of business value, priorities, and implementation risks
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions, regions, and business units in a complex, matrixed global environment
  • Strong understanding of supplier landscapes, external markets, and relationship models, with ability to develop and implement sourcing strategies
  • Solid financial, commercial, and legal acumen (cost benchmarking, supplier financials/audits, contracting) and experience managing risk
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships at senior levels and influence across teams
  • Demonstrated leadership with the ability to drive change, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, familiarity with the Consumer Health industry, and ability to coach and mentor others
  • Ability to develop robust, legally compliant contracts aligned with business needs, with fluency in English (additional languages a plus)

Preferred

·Bachelor’s degree in procurement, business management, supply chain or scientific discipline

·Experience in Consumer Healthcare and more specifically Wellness

·Product Development

Location: Hybrid in Warren, NJ; 3 days on-site required.    

The US salary range for this role is $124,624 - $171,358 + a 18% Target Bonus.
