The Position
Medical Science Partner in Roche Central Asia (Ophthalmology)
Role purpose
Leads the development and is accountable for implementation of the medical part of dedicated Therapeutic Area (TA) strategy that ensures better pts outcomes by being timely diagnosed and treated, accelerating pts access through medical\scientific value creation and customer centricity.
Accountability for Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia and Belarus.
Reports to Science Chapter Lead
Requirements\ qualifications
High education in Medicine is a must
Previous working experience in ophthalmology is preferred, but not essential
Established disease area network and strong stakeholder engagement skills including partnering with HCPs and TAEs is preferred
Experience in building medical\scientific exchange, communication and value creation
Expert knowledge of disease area\areas
Fluent English is a must
Knowledge in Real World Evidence (RWE), experience in working with agile methodologies is a plus
Position is based in Almaty or in Astana

Responsibilities
Contribute to developing integrated TA (Ophthalmology) strategy aligned to Global strategy
Ensures proactive science partnership with key clinical\scientific experts (regular F2F and online meetings)
Unsure building external clinical advocacy
Demonstrate deep scientific expertise in assigned molecules/products and therapeutic areas to exchange relevant information with thought leaders and healthcare decision makers
Build and leverage relationships with key external scientific and medical customers to understand evolving healthcare trends
Ensures scientific support for PPOCs and other internal stakeholders in frame of Ophthalmology and assigned products
Act as an expert in Ophthalmology to provide medical insight and work with the team to develop strategies for medical education
Member of launch readiness and value&access affiliate teams, contributes to launch readiness; value creation and patent access in Ophthalmology and assigned products
Contribution in frame of Ophthalmology for regulatory\safety outcomes
Contribution in frame of Ophthalmology for value dossiers preparation
Accountable for collecting evidence gaps and related needs in Ophthalmology and ensure their inclusion in global Integrated Evidence Plan (if needed)
Leads RWD activities (in close collaboration with Clin Ops responsible) in Ophthalmology
Leads One Roche approach in close collaboration with Roche Dia in Ophthalmology
Leads MedInfo support in Ophthalmology
Involvement in Affiliate Teams work, Network and Global activities, as required
Compliance with relevant internal standard operation procedures and external regulation
