Accounts Payable Senior Specialist (P2P - GRIR Operational Excellence)

Job Description Summary

The GRIR Sr specialist is responsible for the overall operational activities within GRIR Account for LATAM Countries by executing the reporting, accounting/finance related matters, clean ups, write offs, to mitigate any financial risk.
The position requires a customer centric, diligent, hard-working individual with proven experience in Finance areas. The role acts as an Operational Subject Matter Expert to deliver the daily operation, month end activities and customer support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a strong control environment, follows-up on audit issues and supports to implement correcting measures.

• Develop root-cause analysis to improve the level of service, quality and effectiveness of the operation in close collaboration with line manager and peers. This position is measured by GRIR KPIs (open items).

• Ownership and maintenance of GRIR Account.

• Collaborate closely with the business and the P2P Business Partner, Accounting department and our commercial partner TCS in order to decrease and mitigate financial risk.

• Support Report to Record team on MEC matters regarding the accounting information.

• Participate and assist in driving the knowledge management process including the development of user manuals, knowledge bases, GRIR trainings, FAQs, etc.

• In charge of prepare, present and drive BSR conversations with CFO.

• Prepare GRIR Monthly account reconciliation.

• Follow up on PO items > 90 days with PO owner, requester, guaranteeing actions plans in order to close open items.

• Responsible to prepare and sent to approving WO according to LSI and the Local Instructions.

• Reviewer/ Execution for sensitive transactions MR11, MRBR, MIGO and FBRA.

• Document process/exceptions in accordance with internal controls and audit requirements.

 

Qualifications:

•  A degree in Business Administration or Accounting is mandatory.

• 3-4 years of financial experience, Accounts Payable any other related finance field.

• Spanish & English (advance written and spoken). 3rd language is a plus.

• Experience in MS suite, excel advance, SAP (mandatory requirements).

• In-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable or Finance processes and system solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national, matrix organization.
