Overview
The Associate Director, U.S. Marketing – Leukemia is a crucial role within the commercial team and will be responsible for developing and delivering key strategics and tactics to support the commercial success of ELZONRIS. This requires possessing or the ability to rapidly develop deep therapeutic area insights and an understanding of the BPDCN market as well as key attributes of ELZONRIS to help position the product appropriately.
The role will involve cross-functional collaboration, project management skills and require the selected individual to become a champion for the brand both internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- Assess viability of leveraging Generative AI across the ELZONRIS Commercial Team (marketing and sales) to enhance efficiencies and quality of outputs to drive increased ELZONRIS use by Hem/Oncs and increased BPDCN diagnostic screening by Pathologists
- Lead all regional and national congress events. This includes attending, contracting, staffing, materials and organizing KOL engagements for each event.
- Develop in collaboration with Commercial Excellence the ability to deliver real-time insights to Territory Managers of their customers engagement with Menarini Stemline non-personal programs to take advantage of potential momentum and opportunities to further educate HCPs on BPDCN and ELZONRIS
- Contribute to the brand achieving annual forecast goals for revenue
- Identify opportunities to enhance current plans and tactics by leveraging deep therapeutic insights including customer and field team feedback
- Work closely with commercial leadership as well as key cross functional partners including, Field Sales, Medical Affairs and Market Access to deliver tactics
- Manage assigned projects within timelines and budget requirements as agreed upon with supervisor
- Manage external agencies effectively to ensure timely execution of key tactics to support the brand
- Attend key congress/medical meetings and internal meetings as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical/medical roles (including sales, training, medical) required
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment and collaborate with cross functional partners including regulatory, legal and medical affairs
- Demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to think strategically and solve problems
- Therapeutic area expertise in BPDCN including in depth knowledge of acute leukemia treatment paradigms preferred, ability to understand complex information including clinical and scientific data required
- Ability to effectively manage agency partners to drive projects to completion by demonstrating project management skills or experience managing vendors and agency partners
- Hematologic malignancies experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement, including a mix of in-office and remote working
Please note: This position is classified as a corporate office position. In accordance with the New York state employer convenience rule, Stemline will withhold New York state income taxes for all corporate office employees, regardless of whether these employees work in New York or remotely.
Base Salary Range of $165k - $220k plus annual bonus & long-term Incentives.
