Site Quality Lead

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this role, as a member of the Site Leadership Team, is to lead the Quality Team at Haleon Levice and to ensure that products produced by the site meet the required quality standard and the relevant marketing authorization, the Quality Management System (QMS) of the plant is in accordance with the current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP),  relevant Regulatory Agencies requirements, and the Company policies.

In this role you will be a part of a site leading AI-driven transformation, with major investments in cutting-edge facilities giving as an example our Smart Lab and evolving beyond manufacturing, with a newly launched R&D facility. You’ll support innovative programs and help drive our digital future.

Role responsibilities:

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.  These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Ensure all Quality and Compliance standards are defined, implemented, and maintained in accordance with Haleon requirements, ISO standards, Medical Device Regulation, Cosmetics regulations, and other applicable regulatory frameworks. Maintain a high level of site readiness for Health Authority inspections, Notified Body assessments, and external audits.

  • Lead the Quality function by providing strategic direction and managing a team of more than 50 engaged Quality professionals.

  • Ensure that robust quality systems are implemented, effectively maintained, and actively used. Lead the development of appropriate corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) arising from audits, deviations, and incidents, and monitor their timeliness and effectiveness.

  • Hold accountability for establishing and managing the site Quality budget, ensuring that capital expenditures support and sustain compliance of facilities, systems, and equipment.

  • Define, monitor, and report site Quality KPIs aligned with Haleon and site priorities, identify key trends, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and embed quality objectives into site business planning and execution.

  • Provide strategic guidance and Quality leadership for site transformation initiatives and strategic projects.

  • Partner closely with the Site Director and Leadership Team to enable efficient cross‑functional operations, drive continuous improvement, and uphold a strong Safety and Quality culture.

  • Act as the site interface with relevant Regulatory Authorities and industry associations, contributing to future policy discussions and bringing external benchmarks and insights to the site.

Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor/Masters Degree in the Sciences related area like Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology etc. or in Engineering

  • Fluent in English and Slovak

  • Experience working with Quality systems /GMP/GDP/ISO Regulated activity experience

  • Experience in a consumer/pharmaceutical/biotech/ medical device/food/cosmetics industry or equivalent manufacturing environment

  • 5-10 years of leadership experience in a similar Quality leadership role within manufacturing operations, specifically as a manager of managers in larger organizations

  • Working knowledge of cGMP & ISO requirements (such as ISO 13485, ISO 22716), Cosmetic Regulation (1223_2009 EU) and ability to apply appropriate risk-based approach and good pragmatic judgment Medical Device Regulation

  • Good interpersonal, influencing and negotiating skills to ensure implementation of appropriate standards, specifications & agreement with internal and external stakeholders

  • Good verbal and written communications skills to ensure effective relay of issues, risks, and opportunities so that these are well understood by all parties and that effective actions are put in place

  • Demonstrated ability to develop business strategies and translate these into workable business processes; ability to work across boundaries and functional areas

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Preferably member of appropriate professional body

  • Master’s degree within a Scientific discipline, PhD

  • Salary:   4300€ gross/ monthly (seniority of candidate will be reflected in salary offer)
