Job Summary
Planner is responsible for global materials demand planning and inventory optimization across assigned product portfolio (MedTech), with a focus on ensuring product availability, service level attainment, and cost efficiency.The Planner partners cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Operations, and Field Service teams to align supply with demand, mitigate inventory risk, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting and replenishment processes.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000
• Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Hybrid role: Onsite 3 days per week

Responsibilities
1. Daily monitoring and communicating of issues with coverage (supply issues, deployment issues, demand exceeding forecast, etc.).
2. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to understand Region and Country demand for assigned products, including spare parts.
3. Oversee the end-to-end auto-replenishment process to ensure participation and active utilization to drive cost avoidance and supply disruptions.
4. Monitor, analyze and prepare key performance metrics & reports.
5. Assist with planning for transitions including load builds, bridge builds, and label transitions.
6. Analyze and prepare business reporting as necessary.
7. Ensure investigation of all spare part shipping errors and process inventory adjustments when needed to assure accurate receipts into field storage locations.
8. Investigate and reconcile all adobe upload errors to assure accurate consumption out of our field storage locations.
9. Conduct annual physical inventories for all field service staff and more often as needed for new hires, exiting engineers, or poor inventory management based on inventory reconciliation results.
10. Monitor finished goods & spare part inventory to ensure appropriate service levels including safety stock management.
11. Support cross-functional discussions with Commercial, Finance and Operations teams by identifying and reporting of excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.
12. Continuous improvement of forecasting processes and systems.
13. Using SAP as the ERP planning tool, ensure alignment of supply to demand to drive 100% on-time delivery to customers & Field Service Engineers.
14. Support and contribute to planning-related projects and initiatives aligned with business objectives.
15. Act as back-up to other members of the Forecasting/Planning team.
16. Support other key Technical Services initiatives and projects (ex. Fleet Management, Warranty Reimbursement, etc.).
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
1 to 3 years production planning/forecasting experience preferred.
High level of attention to detail, follow through and task completion orientation required.
High sense of urgency in exceeding daily expectations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to include root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions and follow-up.
Ability to identify and resolve key customer issues in a timely fashion.
Ability to develop and, when needed, adjust standard operating procedures (SOPs) to achieve scheduling and inventory management objectives and exceed customer expectations.
Ability to interact effectively at multiple levels (up and down) in building strong cross functional relationships across Global teams.
Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills; ability to effectively present information (formally and informally).
Strong computer skills (e.g., SAP, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, APO). SAP S4 HANA & IBP experience preferred.
Willingness to work off shift and minimal travel may be requested.
